Last night, BOSSY stopped in Richmond on her (No) Book Tour – a six-week road trip around the country to meet other bloggers and her adoring fans (me!).
While I had the privilege of working with the gorgeous and genius bodacious girl on designing and then maintaining Bossy’s stellar blog for the past two years, this was the first time that I met Bossy in person. And despite talking to Bossy almost every day via e-mail while we were working together, I was so nervous to meet her in person that my hands were shaking.
But once we found our table and started talking, my anxiety vanished. We were all (or mostly) strangers when we arrived, but effortlessly became new friends. I met Chesapeake Bay Woman, Dem Mom, Ambry and her rock star mom, and Kelly with his husband and two of their friends. They were all genuinely fabulous.

Without reservation, I asked for Bossy’s autograph before I left. Even though my name is in the footer in her blog, and she wrote that meeting me was her favorite thing today (OH MY GOD!), she is still a hero to me. This is my favorite thing, and I’m going to keep it forever!
