After I have this baby (my due date is in six days!), I will be working only part-time and I am expecting to use my extra time at home to pursue more creative endeavors. I am determined to continue blogging both as a way to document and archive my progress on creative projects and as a creative project in itself. My renewed motivation to be active in the blogging community has me redesigning my blog to reflect a new style and allow more dynamic content. I’m hoping to launch the new design at the end of the year.
In particular, I want to open comments on my blog, highlight my Flickr feed and Twitter feed more prominently, and try to write a new post every day. I want to design a new masthead each month and I want to create more collages and hone my graphic design skills. I want to have a digital scrapbook of my life with a baby and I want to get more practice writing, taking pictures, and using Photoshop.
Inspiration for my new color palette came from a Bacardi Mojito advertisement that I saw in a magazine. I love the crisp, lime flavor that it evokes!
